Bike Porn 2 - Rev. Phil does Boulder

Saturday, October 18, 2008

Rev. Phil and his traveling pornocopia of bike film shorts came to the BurnWorks last night and presented to a packed house. We were treated to a special burlesque performance by Whisky Breath Burlesque.

If you missed last night's show you can see the film at the Orange Cat Studios in Denver tonight at 8:00 and 10:00pm. More info at www.bikesmut.com.

Thanks to everyone that came out to this event last night. It wasn't as scary as you thought... but you didn't stick around for the after party. ;)

PG photos coming soon.

BurnWorks on the Playa

Tuesday, September 23, 2008

Ah, I love the smell of Playa Dust in the Morning. It smells like, Victory.

Two of BurnWorks' creations made it to Burning Man this year. First, a bicycle chariot that was used to haul around a portable flame cannon and second, a cargo bike based on the Dutch "Longjohn" or BakFiets.

Whiskey Drew spent many long nights making the bike to the right (pictured here with Dr. John next to the Purple Palace). The bike allowed the Doctor to haul around friends in search of art and maybe an all night rave or two... not too hard of a feat at Burning Man.

Here are some more pics:

Guess who?

So I read MAKE blog online and they just posted a link to a collection of odd bikes. I saw most of the pictures before, but the last one was a pleasant surprise, if not odd and random.
