New Year's Eve at the Asylum

Happy New Year's everyone! The grand opening of the Phoenix Ayslum was a huge success! I can't wait to see what they come up with! The underground art movement in Boulder is alive and well on the Lower East Side!

The Phoenix Asylum, Boulders' newest art collective, is hosting a Grand Opening New Years Eve party. Just steps away from the BurnWorks, in the Lower East Side Fire Arts District.

$10 gets you state of the art fire performers, fire sculptures, DJ's, VJ's, a huge heated indoor dance space, outdoor patio serving Hot Toddies, separate indoor ambient chill space, $1 PBRs*, free parking, midnight champagne, and more!

Early evening welding, plasma cutting, and wood working demos and workshops, studio and loft tours, meet artists who work in various medias.

This will be a cutting edge NYE party - be there or be mainstream!

BurnWorks Grand Opening

So the Boulder BurnWorks grand opening party was a success. Lots of our friends came out to support our new venture and a good time was had by all. We plan on throwing some more events in the near future such as indie film nights and art viewings of local artists. We plan on cranking out a few bikes to sell in the near future. In the near dystopic future, the world will suffer anelectromagnetic pulse which will render all forms of motorized transportation useless.
