Ah, I love the smell of Playa Dust in the Morning. It smells like, Victory.
Two of BurnWorks' creations made it to Burning Man this year. First, a bicycle chariot that was used to haul around a portable flame cannon and second, a cargo bike based on the Dutch "Longjohn" or BakFiets.
Whiskey Drew spent many long nights making the bike to the right (pictured here with Dr. John next to the Purple Palace). The bike allowed the Doctor to haul around friends in search of art and maybe an all night rave or two... not too hard of a feat at Burning Man.

Side Car Bike and other curiosities
Sunday, October 21, 2007
We're busy at the BurnWorks these days. B-Rad is working on an English cruiser restoration, Whisky Claus is taking on an ambitious project and designing a Longjohn. I won't tell you what it is, but you may see it soon.
My current project is a side car bike. The side car has been attached, but the framing is not quite done. Eventually there will be a built in seat that can be flipped up so there will be room for groceries, dogs and maybe a case of beer or two. It might not be ready for this week's cruiser ride, but we will see.
