We've been busy at the BurnWorks and here is the latest piece that was made especially for the Colorado Hemophilia Society.
The Sixth Annual Black & Blue Evening for Hemophilia will be held at Souders Studios in Golden, Colorado on February 21st. All proceeds go to benefit the Hemophilia Society of Colorado, which serves individuals and their families living with bleeding disorders state-wide.

Traffic Sign Table
Here is the finished Traffic Sign Table I made for a client. I will be adding a removable frame on top to cover up the tar on the sign that could not be removed.

KBFR Sign Project
The Pirates from KBFR 93.9FM commissioned the BurnWorks to make a sign for their radio station. The sign will be used at official fundraising concerts and when they are commandeering vessels on the open seas. Yarr!
The piece turned out nice and I thank the unknown person that dumped a car hood close to the shop instead of disposing of it properly. Three cheers to recycled art.
If you haven't listened to the newly reformed KBFR, you can tune in on 93.9FM. The airwaves belong to the people and not corporations. Support your local artists, musicians, businesses and keep Boulder weird!
Woody Trailer Project
Earlier in the Summer I found a free Burley trailer on Boulder Freecycle. The ripstop fabric was dry rotted and smelled a little like dog piss (no wonder it was free).
My idea was to give the trailer a retro, woody look. I've been biking more and relying less on my car and my goal is to use my bike for most of my transportation/work in Boulder. This trailer will help me carry my groceries, haul tools and maybe even a case of beer or two.
Bike Trailers
Here at the BurnWorks, we like making utility based bicycle transport. Side cars, BoulderFiets, etc. You might see some of our creations hitting the streets in the coming months. In the meantime, check out this site for some inspiration for you next project. [Link]

Bike Part Coffee Table Project
I recently created a coffee table from discarded bike parts. I like saving things (that would otherwise end up in a landfill) and turn them into something new and useful. Be on the lookup for more designs soon!
This past week MAKE magazine posted about my coffee table on their blog. (link)
Side Car complete!
At long last, the "Designated Biker" aka the "Spectatormobile" aka sidecar is complete. It was a race to the finish to get it painted and put back together for the Burnworks grand opening, but we did it. Three cheers to Whiskey Drew for helping out on this project.
